we spent the weekend in Cape Cod and it was such a great experience! it was such a relaxing time, full of laid back and genuine people. michael came along on this journey and we made a number of more memories together. we visited seagulls beach and walked & talked, had dinner on main street and explored the shops and ventured down into different avenues, and also took a ferry to marthas vineyard.
we left out of falmouth port using steamship authority (which I would highly recommend because a round trip is only $17) and the ferry ride was probably about 45 minutes. once we got to the island, there were the most quaint and beautiful victorian & cottage styled houses. mike and i wandered the streets, going wherever our eyes took us with no plan or destination. we ate dinner at a restaurant called the sand bar and the food was delicious! (highly rec the haddock sandwich!!)
it was such a perfect little getaway and michael and i definitely plan on going back to do some more exploring!
my outfit to marthas vineyard was pretty simple - i wanted to stay cool because it was pretty hot out, so classic white shorts, a halter neck tank and some casual sandals did the trick!
